SparkFun Variable Load Kit
SparkFun Variable Load Kit is a quick-to-assemble board designed to draw a specific amount of current from an input voltage. The variable load kit is used to test the state of being of the power supply under various loads, battery lifetime, safety cutoffs, and other design elements. This kit can test power supplies of up to 30V at current ranging from a few mA up to 4A. The variable load kit operates at two output modes using a PC console for feedback or a 16 x 2 character LCD. The kit features four buttons: up arrow, down arrow, enter, and back. The up and down arrow keys will adjust the current set point, the enter key turns the load on or off, and the back button resets the set point to zero. This variable load kit also features an LED that indicates whether the load is enabled or disabled at any moment in time.Features
